I'm Nicole— a product designer specializing in end-to-end UX and UI design for software products. Currently the Head of Design at Clarvos, a fully remote SaaS company delivering cutting-edge marketing technology powered by AI to enhance user insights and decision-making.

I love being involved in the whole product lifecycle — from talking to users, to wireframing, to presenting prototypes. Involvement in each step of the process gives me a deep understanding of how a user is interacting with a product and teaches me something new about the user every day.

With years of remote work experience, I’ve learned what it means to be a thoughtful communicator and effectively lead a design team. There are both positive and negative impacts that remote work can have on a creative team. I have experience in creating effective remote processes, collaborating across teams, and managing in both in-person and remote settings.

​I am team-oriented. I understand the impact that good or bad leadership can have on a team. I have always led with a people-centered approach and a strong set of values — integrity, authenticity, and most importantly, inclusion.

Outside of my job, it has always been important for me to be an active participant in the creative community. Over the years I have participated in various design programs in the DMV area including the AIGA DC SHINE program, DC Design Week, and Ladies, Wine, & Design DC. Most recently I enrolled in a summer drawing class to meet new people and expand upon my creative skillset. These experiences have always left me feeling inspired and energized seeing how designers can have such a profound impact on our communities. When I’m not designing you can find me exploring the incredible DC food scene or planning my next national park visit.
